Carol Beck

Carol Ramona Smith Beck, 71, a resident of High Rock Lake, passed away Friday, March 4, 2022 at Thomasville Medical Center. She was born on July 21, 1950 in Davidson County to the late Victor and Ramona Smith. She worked as a dental hygienist for many years. Carol was an active person who loved her home on the lake and watching all the wildlife living nearby, especially the variety of birds. She also loved traveling to the beach, riding motorcycles, and boating. Carol loved shopping and had a knack for finding all the best deals. She enjoyed finding new recipes so she could cook meals for her friends and neighbors. Carol always had time for her friend’s, who were more like family, and young people. She loved being a help and minister to children and anyone who needed her.   Carol was a committed partner and friend who will be missed by all.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 10, 2022 in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington. The family will greet friends after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Waterfowl Rescue, 5403 Poplin Rd, Indian Trail, NC 28079 and/or the charity of the donors choice.

Carol is survived by her partner of over 30 years, Roy Agee of Colfax; an aunt, Theta Smith; many cousins; and a multitude of friends.
