Lynda Carol Hepler Gobble, age 64, of Helen Young Drive, Lexington died Friday November 21, 2008 at her home after an illness of several months. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday November 25, 2008 at Leonard Road Baptist Church where she was a member conducted by Rev. Tommy Hepler. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. Lynda was born in Davidson County February 24, 1944 to Harold Hepler and Rosie Mae Easter Hepler. She was formerly employed with Young & Hinkle and was active in the Lady’s Group at her church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Grady Edward Gobble. Surviving are two sons, Neil Gobble and companion Shellie Leighty, and Scott Gobble and wife Wanda, both of Linwood; one daughter, Lisa Baker and husband Fred of Thomasville, three brothers, Rev. Tommy Hepler and J.D. Hepler both of Lexington, and Bradford Hepler of Southmont; two sisters, Nancy Hemphill of Midway and Mildred Dennis of Lexington, six grandchildren, Rebecca Gobble and Niki Walker both of Lexington, Casey Baker and Justin Baker both of Welcome, Christopher Gobble of Southmont and Shelly Baker of Thomasville; 3 step-grandchildren and one Great-grandchild Tatum Walker. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday November 24, 2008 at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County P.O.
