Carol Leonard, 83, of Greenville, NC, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at ECU Health Care, in Greenville.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Lomax Skinner officiating, with burial to follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Carol was born on June 1, 1942, in Davidson County, to the late Guy Wilson Trull and Clatie Viola Smith Trull. Upon graduating from Lexington High School, she attended college for business and worked in administration for attorneys in Lexington, Greensboro, and Greenville.

She was an avid traveler and loved spending time traversing the country with her husband, Ed, in an RV. They were members of Coast-to-Coast Travel Resorts and enjoyed being able to pick up and go whenever and wherever they pleased.

Carol and her husband loved staying active and exercising together as members of East Carolina Recreation Center, participating in water aerobics and socializing with friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ed Leonard, of the home; brother, Don Truell (Susie), of Thomasville; sister, Victoria Truell, of Lexington; nieces and nephews, Donna Truell, Mike Truell, Robert Sink, and Polly Davis; great niece and great nephew, Meri-Michael Truell, Guy Dailey; and their friends in Greenville.
