Carol Presnell Moretz

Mrs. Carolyn “Carol” Presnell Moretz, 79, of Pilgrim Court, died Saturday, November 20 at her home.

A private graveside service will be held at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Mrs. Moretz was born June 4, 1942 in Davidson County to Walter Leroy Presnell and Ruby Lamb Presnell.  She retired as a court recorder in the Davidson County Judicial System and was a member of First Baptist Church of Welcome.  Her brother, Ricky Presnell, and her sister, Linda Dickens, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Dale Moretz of the home; her daughters, Teresa Hedrick (Benny) of Lexington, and Jodi Hedrick (Chet) of Salisbury; and her grandchildren, Meagan Hedrick, Katie Hedrick, and Zachary Hedrick.
