Carol Rogers

Carol Diane Johnson Rogers age 58, of Texas Drive passed away Monday May 10, in Lexington Memorial after declining health. A memorial service to celebrate Carol’s life will be 4 p.m., Friday May 14th at Sonlight Baptist Church where she was a member, conducted by Rev. Steve Brooks. Visitation for family and friends will start at 6:00p.m. Thursday May 13, at the home of the son Lance, 108 Eastdale Drive, Lexington, N.C. Carol was born in Davidson County on September 8, 1951 to Lamon and Cora Denton Johnson. She was a 1969 graduate of Central Davidson High School and a former employee of Burlington Furniture Industries. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Becky Rogers, a brother Ralph Johnson, and two sisters Mary Lou Harrelson and Brenda Johnson. She is survived by her husband Tommy of the home; three sons Lance Thompkins and wife Mandy, Mark and Denny Rogers all of Lexington ; two daughters Sandy Thorarinson and husband Michael of Greensboro and Debbie Crabb of Lexington; a brother Robert Johnson and wife Linda of Lexington; 18 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
