Carol Ann Stiles Wilson

Carol Ann Stiles Wilson, 80, of Davidson County, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, surrounded by her family.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Eric Disher officiating at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the funeral home, prior to the service.

Burial will immediately follow the service at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Carol was born on March 20, 1943, in Davidson County, to the late Wilfred Waitsel Stiles and Grace Odell Bradshaw Stiles. She worked for many years in administration at Community Church where she also was a member. Carol is remembered for loving sewing, embroidery, scrapbooking, and other crafts, as well as being a voracious reader.

Her sense of humor was unmatched, and her family and friends knew her as someone who could brighten anyone’s day with a laugh. Carol was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother. She would do anything for her family and put them before anyone else.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Larry “Dale” Wilson; and brother, Jerry Stiles.

Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Wendy Miller (Jimmy), of Lexington, and Debbie Citta (Nelson), of Lexington; four grandchildren, Cassie Miller, Kayla Miller, Caroline Citta, and Lily Citta; and precious fur baby, Honey.
