Carol Regan Zealy

Carol Regan Zealy passed away Saturday morning, March 20, 2021 Hinkle Hospcie House after an extensive battle with cancer and complications.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 23, 2021 in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Vernon Peterson officiating. She will then be interred by her mother at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will greet friends and family 1 hour prior to the service. The funeral will be Live Streamed at www.facebook.com/davidson.funeralhome . Face mask and social distancing are suggested for the service.

Carol was born in Lexington, NC January 17, 1950 she was the daughter of the late Banks Regan and Polly  Michael Regan. Carol was a teacher, wife and mother. The most important title she would say was being a grandmother to Avery Simpson, Lucy Simpson and Malachi Zealy Wright. Being a Grandmother made her fight longer and harder to stay with us. Carol’s children and grandchildren were her greatest delight. Carol was a graduate of ASU and a member of Alpa Psi dramatics fraternity. She taught in Greensboro, High Point and was last employed by Guilford County Schools until her retirement.

She is survived by her husband Kee of Lexington, NC and in addition to the grandchildren, her children, David Zealy Wright (Derek) of Hickory, NC, Marina Zealy of Winston Salem, NC and Jamie Simpson (Jeremy) of Durham, NC.

She fought the good fight and will be missed.
