Carole Brobst Grubbs

Carole Brobst Grubbs, age 78 passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at her home. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 3rd at 11:00 AM at Oak Forest United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Darren Alexander and Rev. Dwight Cartner officiating. Carole was born on Friday, January 13, 1933 in Allentown, PA to Edwin and Willamenia Brobst. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Donald Eugene Grubbs of the home; two daughters, Becky Everhart and Wendy Shirley Cundiff (Miles) of Winston-Salem; a step-daughter, Dr. Winnifred Daisley; two sisters, Betty Rice (Roy) of Copley, PA and Sylvia Day (Richard) of Maine; grandchildren, Roxann Everhart Moore, Zachary Shirley, Josh Everhart and Dylan Cundiff, Krista Causey; and great-grandchildren, Tay Tay Moore, Pierson Shaw and MaKayla VanMeter. Memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association, Piedmont Triad/NC Chapter, 1315 Ashleybrook Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
