Carolyn Hale

Carolyn Ann Fleenor Hale, 67 of Davis Dr. Lexington died Saturday November 12, 2011 at her home after an illness of 1 week. A funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday November 15, 2011 at Victory Baptist Church with the Rev. Ralph Byrd officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 Tuesday at Victory Baptist Church and at other times at the home on Davis Dr. Mrs. Hale was born in Johnson City, TN on December 18, 1943 to Albert Fleenor and Wilma Gail Blevins Fleenor. She was a beautiful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She was employed with Leonard Cleaners and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother and sister Glory Wishon. Surviving are her husband, Dow Wesley Hale of the home, son Darrell Hale and wife Penny of Lexington, daughters Doris Haywood and husband Roger, Debbie Justice and husband Brian, Edna Hale and Gary all of Lexington, grandchildren Randy Odom, Scottie Pressley, Bobbie Jo Smith, Joanna Smith, Kimberly Nasi and Amanda Leonard and 9 great grandchildren, her father of Lexington, brothers David Fleenor of FL, Wayne Fleenor of Lexington and Bobby Fleenor of VA, sisters Patsy Franklin of Lexington and Janet Fritts Elizabethton, TN.
