Carolyn Payne Hall

Carolyn Anne Payne Hall, 74, of Louya Rd., Lexington died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015 in Abbotts Creek Care and Rehab Center. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015 at Psalm 91 with Pastor Max Shoaf officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the church just prior to the service. Mrs. Hall was born July 5, 1941 in Davidson County to Walter Sharpe Clodfelter and Maxine Creakman Clodfelter. She was a member of Psalm 91 and worked in Customer service for Lexington Telephone Co. Carolyn was a member of the Pioneer Club. Preceding her in death was her parents and an infant son, Nicky Hall. Surviving are her husband, Billy Shannon Hall of the home; a son, Donnie Hall (Sherri) of Lexington; two daughters, Jamie H. Rummage (Roger), Anisa Hall Smith (Jerry) both of Lexington; three grandchildren, Mysti Proctor, Jordan Rummage (Amanda) Colby Smith; one great grandchild, Ivy Mae Proctor; two brothers, Randall Clodfelter(Roberta) of Walburg, Teddy Clodfelter (Cathy) of Climax; two sisters, Sandy Beverly (Bill), and Barbara Shankle both of Lexington. Memorials may be directed to Abbotts Creek Care and Rehab. Center, 877 Hill Everhart Rd. The family would like to thank the staff at Abbotts Creek for their love and outstanding care of Momma.
