Carolyn Sue Williams Hendrix

Carolyn Sue Williams Hendrix, 63, of Andrew Sink Road, died Thursday, April 7, 2011, at Wake Forest Baptist Health Center. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2011, at Reeds United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gary Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Fulton United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home. Mrs. Hendrix was born September 23, 1947, in Davidson County, to Hassel Williams and Carolyn Lanier Williams. She was Veneer Department Supervisor at Lexington Home Brands; a member of Fulton United Methodist Church and attended Reeds United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Odell Hendrix; daughter, Tracy Deann Hendrix. Surviving are her husband Samuel Hendrix of the home; son Scott Hendrix and friend, Tracy Callahan, of Lexington; daughters, Amy Grubb and husband, Brian, of Lexington; two grandchildren, Rebecca Grubb and Matthew Grubb, both of Lexington; and mother-in-law, Evelyn Rattz Hendrix of Lexington.
