Carolyn Bowman Hill

Carolyn Bowman Hill, 73, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2026, at Hinkle Hospice House.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Konnoak Hills Moravian Church with Rev. Russ Post-May officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held 12:00 to 1:00 PM Thursday, May 7, 2026.

Born on October 10, 1952, in Forsyth County, North Carolina, Carolyn was the daughter of the late Radford Bowman and Lillian Renegar Bowman. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and love for her family.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Lee Hill, Sr., and her sister, Judy Bowman Barnard.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Becky Brooks and husband Bill; her sister, Betty Kerik; and bonus-daughter, Debra Boone, her cherished grandchildren, Lillian Brooks, Emmaleigh Brooks, and Phillip Hill.

Carolyn’s life was a reflection of quiet grace and deep devotion to those she loved. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
