Carolyn Loman

Mrs. Carolyn Jean Thomason Loman, 77, of Dellwood Drive passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018, at Hinkle Hospice House with her family by her side.   Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Keith Carroll officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral home in Lexington from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, June 5, 2018.   Carolyn was born in Davidson County on May 2, 1941 to Roy Thomason and Hallie Barker Thomason.  She had worked as an assistant school teacher at Southwood Elementary School and attended Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church.  In her free time, Carolyn enjoyed line dancing.   Surviving is her loving husband, Thamar Darrell Loman, of the home; sons, Todd Loman (Louwon) of Thomasville, Shane Loman (Lorie) of Clemmons; sisters, Rhonda Fortenberry (Tony), Sonya McGuire (Sidney), Pat King (Jimmy), all of Lexington; and 3 grandchildren, Austin Loman (Hannah Rose), Blake Loman, and Madeline Loman.   Memorials can be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.   Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
