Carolyn Miner Money, age 68 of Millstone Lane, Advance, passed away Friday, March 13, 2015, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston Salem.
A funeral service will be held Monday March 16th at 2:00 PM at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Phillip Brande officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
Carolyn was born in Davidson County on December 9, 1946 to Laverle Edwin Miner and Betty Rose Hunt Miner Gallimore. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Carolyn enjoyed arts, crafts, gardening and loved her lawn mower and doing anything outside with Mother Nature. She was preceded in death by her father. Her mother passed away just a few days before her on March 11th. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents David and Clara Belle Hunt.
Surviving are her husband Jim Money; sons, Scott Money of Winston Salem and Eric Money of Durham; daughter Angie York and husband Dennis of Farmington; five grandchildren, Alyssa York, Daniel York, Abigail York, Evan York and Nautica York; her sisters Paulette Moorefield and husband Steve of Holly Springs and Fran G. Robbins and significant other, Dale Floyd of Lexington.
