Carolyn Helmstetler Pressley

Carolyn Ann Helmstetler Pressley, 80, of Giles Road in Lexington, passed away Thursday June 8, 2023 at her home.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday June 11, 2023 at Meadowview Presbyterian Church with Rev. Taylor Howsmon officiating services. Burial will follow at Sandy Creek Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm Sunday at the church.

Mrs. Pressley was born March 31, 1943 in Guilford County to Dewey Glen Helmstetler and Dorothy

Way Helmstetler. Carolyn enjoyed traveling, gardening and canning. She was preceded in death by parents; two brothers, Clifford Helmstetler and Doug Helmstetler; and a son-in-law, Kenny Wright.

Surviving is her husband Kent Rayvon Pressley, of the home; one son, Glen Pressley (Tracy) of Lexington; two daughters, Kim Allen (Steve) of Lexington and Karen Wright of Linwood; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel will be serving the family.
