Carr Monroe "Chip" Ward Iii

Carr Monroe Ward III (Chip) age 83, died Friday, July 14, 2023. Chip was born April 21, 1940, in Davidson County to CM Ward Jr. and Louise Revelle Ward. He was a graduate of Lexington Senior High School, 1958. He was the owner of Hedgecock Builder Supply of Lexington, NC.

Chip is survived by his wife Kaye P. Ward; sons Carr M Ward IV (Neely Ward); Russell Ward; sister Gayle Burke (Dr. Jim Burke); brother Rusty Ward, granddaughter Carleigh Ward and best buds Jerry Martin and Alan Brumfield.

To honor the memory of Chip a celebration of life will be held Tuesday August 8, 2023 from 6-8 pm at Yarbrough's Restaurant. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to Davidson Medical Ministries Clinic, Habitat for Humanity of Lexington, or to Hospice of Davidson County.
