Carrie Ann Younts Walser, 86 of Lexington passed away early Monday morning, December 22, 2014 at Alston Brook . A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Good Hope United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Lauren Anderson and Rev. Chris Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday night at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel and other times at the home of John Wayne and Janie Walser, 431 Reedy Creek Baptist Church Rd.
Carrie was born in Davidson County on July 16, 1928 to the late Thomas Jefferson Younts and Edna Byerly Younts. She was a homemaker and a member of Good Hope United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Curtis Walser; brothers, T. J., Raymond and K. W. Younts; sisters, Susie Hoffman, Mildred Hoffman, Ethel Hartley and Mabel Younts.
Surviving is a son John Wayne Walser (Janie); two grandchildren, Mark Walser (Chrissy), Jared Walser (Hollie); four great-grandchildren, Tylor, Dawson, Lilli and Sara Walser.
Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
