Carrie Farmer Frizzell

Carrie Louise Farmer Frizzell, 93, of Leonard Road in Lexington, passed away Sunday October 10, 2021 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday at Davidson Funeral home Chapel with Rev. Frankie Matthews officiating services. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 Wednesday prior to the service at Davidson Funeral Home. Mrs. Frizzell was born April 30, 1928, in Jackson County to Thad Farmer and Kate Alexander Farmer. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Carrie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Collins Frizzell; five brothers, Dee Farmer, Jerome Farmer, Holmes Farmer, Daniel Farmer and Edison Farmer; and two sisters, Rachel Nicholson and Jessie Keener. Surviving is a son, Sidney Frizzell (Melanie) of Lexington; one daughter, Jackie Frizzell (Louie) of Lexington; 3 Grandchildren, Alicia Frizzell, Holli Brodar, Savanna Brodar (Raul) and 2 Great-Grandchildren, Reagan Speigle and Vincent Rivera.
