Carrie Mae Scarce Lambeth

Carrie Mae Scarce Lambeth age 88, of Salem Road passed away Thursday September 8, 2011 at Lexington Medical Center. A funeral service will be 2 pm Monday September 12, 2011, at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Lambeth was born January 26, 1923, in Guilford County to George Washington Scarce and Martha Jordan Scarce. She was a loving mother and a homemaker. She preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lacy Lambeth; her sister, Gladys Farrington. She is survived by her son, Charles Wayne Lambeth of Lexington; her six grandchildren; her two great grandchildren. Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family.
