Carrie Ellis Nobles Smith

Carrie Ellis Nobles Smith 86, of Lamb Road, Lexington died April 15, 2008 at Alston Brook Nursing Home in Lexington. The family will conduct a memorial service at a later date. Mrs. Smith was born September 7, 19821 in Columbus County, NC to Jim Ellis and Emily Ellis. She was preceded in death by her first husband Alvae Nobles, and a daughter Carrie Barringer. Surviving is a son, Billy Joe Nobles and his former wife Ethellyn Nobles of Lexington, six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, Asley Ward and husband Elonzo of Lexington, and Lee Barringer of Va.
