Cassandra "Sandy" Sue Davis

Cassandra "Sandy" Sue Brady Davis, 63 of 12 Fairway Drive, Lexington, died early Wednesday (6-28-06) morning at her home after an illness of several months. Mrs. Davis was born May 17, 1943 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and worked as a bookkeeper for Austin’s TV which she and her husband owned. Mrs. Davis attended North Lexington Baptist Church. Mrs. Davis was looking forward to the arrival of a great-grandchild to be born in September. She was preceded in death by her husband Jackie Clifford Davis who passed away in 2002. She was also preceded in death by her mother Betty Sue Brady and step-father Lewis Stanley Brady. Survivng are a son Dr. Keith M. Davis of Boone, NC; daughter Joni Davis Grubb and husband Tommy of Lexington. Grandchildren Tamara Newsome and Chad Newsome both of Lexington; sisters Mary Pamela Stegman of Lexington and Judy Meeker of Rosemond, CA. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday (6-30-2006)at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The service will be conducted by Dr. Robert Floyd. Burial will follow in the Forest Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 PM Thursday at their home on Fairway Drive. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, PO Box 1941, Lexington, NC 27293.
