Catherine Hedrick

Catherine Barnhardt Hedrick, 66, of Wood Valley Court, died Sunday, January 12, 2014, at High Point Regional Hospital following an extended illness. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 18, 2014, at Smith Grove Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Terry Smith officiating. The family will receive friends in the church sanctuary one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Mrs. Hedrick was born November 28, 1947, in Rowan County, to Edsel Barnhardt and Alta Bigby Gill. She was retired from Napa Auto Parts. Surviving are her son, William Hedrick of High Point; daughters, Casey Bagchi and husband Neil of Chapel Hill and Erin Goodreau and husband Ray of Atlanta, Ga.; three grandchildren, Cialeigh and Lylah Hedrick and Kate Bagchi; brother, Jack Gill of Durham; and sister, Teresa Gill of Wilmington.
