Cathy Jean Barlow

Cathy Jean Poole Barlow 69, of Shelton Avenue Lexington passed away Wednesday June 27, 2018 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice in Winston-Salem, NC.

A funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday June 30, 2018 at Union Grove Baptist Church where she was a member conducted by Dr. Harold Fletcher and burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will see friends at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel  Friday from 5-7 pm and at other times at the home.

Mrs. Barlow was born October 26, 1948 in Davidson County to Benjamin Franklin Poole and Juanita Jean Dorsett Poole. She retired from Dixie Furniture. Her parents and husband, George David Barlow preceded her in death.

Surviving are sons: Scotty Barlow of Lexington, Benjie Barlow (Lori) of Welcome, and Jeffrey Barlow (Regina) of Lexington. A brother, Junior Poole (Shirley) of Davidson, NC and a sister, Nancy Wood of Lexington. Her grandchildren, Scottie Anderson, Alex Craver (Blake), Lindsay Barlow, Josie Barlow, Hailey Barlow and Noah Fink.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice 101 Hospice Lane, Winston Salem, NC 27101.
