Cathy Yates Davis

Cathy Yates Davis, age75, of the Churchland Community, passed away Monday evening after several years of declining health.

A service to celebrate Cathy’s life will be 2:00 pm Monday July 25 ^th , in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Ray N. Howell IV with burial to follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will see friends on Monday 1:00 to 2:00 prior to the service.

Cathy was born May 17, 1947, in Rowan County to Paul Spencer and Catherine Bost Yates. She was a homemaker and a member of Churchland Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Foy “Whitey” Lee Davis Sr.

Those left to cherish her memory are son, Foy Lee Davis Jr.; daughter, Ronda Davis Rabon (Kevin) both of Lexington; grandchildren, Jordyn Davis, Justin Rabon, Henry Davis, Elizabeth McBriant: great-grandchildren, Adalynn, Serenity, Parker, Zoe and Abigail and brother, George William "Bill" Yates of Statesville, NC.
