Cathy Elizabeth Robbins

Cathy Elizabeth Robbins, beloved wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother, passed away on July 2, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on February 28, 1961, Cathy lived a life filled with love and dedication to her family, friends, and community.

A resident of Salisbury, NC, Cathy was known for her unyielding devotion to her family, her vibrant spirit, and a heart filled with love that touched everyone she met. She is survived by her loving husband, Mitchell Ray Robbins; her sons Terry Wayne Robbins and Tony Ray Greer; daughters Tiffany Stone (Brandon) and Tonya Compton (Samuel); her loving brother Dale Byrd, and sisters Debbie Leonard and Ann Wishon. Her legacy continues through her eight treasured grandchildren: Nathan Stone, Rayann Greer, Kameron Greer, Christopher Greer, Jason Buchanan, Gabrielle Stone, Katniss Stone, and Eli Robbins, alongside her faithful pug, Nova.

Cathy was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Ray Byrd, and mother, Ruby Lee Byrd, brother Danny Byrd, and sister Jean Robbins. Her memory will forever be cherished by those who knew her and those who came to love her spirit.

Cathy found joy and fulfillment in her work as a Spray Handler at Beaufurm Furniture, where her dedication and strong work ethic left an indelible mark. Outside of work, Cathy loved to cook for her family and friends, making every meal a cherished gathering. She had a fondness for watching her favorite TV shows, including General Hospital and Judge Judy, and enjoyed quality time spent camping and exploring the great outdoors with her family.

A visitation will take place at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington, 1 pm Tuesday, July 8th, 2025, where friends and family are invited to pay their respects. A funeral service celebrating Cathy's life will follow at 2 pm with Pastor Tommy Robbins officiating. A committal service will follow afterwards.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Cathy's honor to the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House, a place that provided care and compassion in her final days. Contributions may be sent to 1229 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144.

Cathy Elizabeth Robbins will be remembered for her unwavering love, her kindness, and her endless commitment to her family. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. She will be greatly missed but fondly remembered.
