Cecilia Williams Yarborough

Cecilia Gail Williams Yarborough, 79, of Brookgreen Drive, passed away Saturday May 8, 2021 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday May 12, 2021 at New Hope Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Brian Rummage conducting services.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm Wednesday in the church fellowship hall.

Mrs. Yarborugh was born August 8, 1941 in Davidson County to Cecil Sanford Williams and Lena Lucille Weaver Williams. She was retired from Lexington City Schools and enjoyed traveling, crafts and gardening.

She is survivied by her husband, Jerry Wayne Yarborough; her son David Yaborough (Tracy) of Huntersville; a sister, Pam Sink (Larry) of Lexington and 2 grandchildren, Hannah and Lainie.
