Charles David Ball, Sr.

Charles David Ball, Sr. age 76 of Burkhart Road, Lexington passed away Friday morning at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.  Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday (5-31-2009) at Grace Alliance Church with Rev. Thomas Hicks officiating.  Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.   Charles was born in Davidson County, June 16, 1932 to Edgar Hosea Ball and Mittie Frances Young Ball. He was a member of Grace Alliance Church.  A retired employee of PPG and a veteran of the US Air Force.  He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.   Surviving are: wife, Janice Hege Ball of the home; one son, C. David Ball, Jr and wife Lori of Lexington; one daughter, Sandra Ochoa of Lexington; three grandchildren, Nathan Ball, Jonathan and Chelsea Ochoa; two brothers, Junior Ball of Welcome and Bobby Ball of Burlington; one siste, Millie Rogers of Jacksonville, FL.   The family will receive friends at the fellowship hall of the church, following the cemetery service.   Memorials may be made to Grace Alliance Church, The Great Commission, PO Box 308, Linwood, NC  27299      Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
