Charles Kenneth Bennett

Charles Kenneth Bennett, 85, of Old Wesley Chapel in Tyro, passed away Sunday February  23, 2025 at his home.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday March 1, 2025 at St Luke's Lutheran Church with Rev. Angela Powell officiating services.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Saturday in the Pless Hall at St. Luke's.

Mr. Bennett was born October 18, 1939 in Franklin County, Georgia to Noah Bennett and Elizabeth Vaughn.  Charles was a Job Superintendant for Davis Electrical and spent the majority of his employment years at PPG. In his spare time, charles had a passion for flying, fishing, boating, bird watching, and feeding wild life. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Bernice Sanders.

Surviving is his wife, Nelda Howard Bennett, of the home; his son, Todd Bennett, of Lexington; two daughters, Dana Bennett, of Lexington and Gina Bennett of Florida and 2 grandchildren, Hugh Ellis Bennett and Bain Miller Bennett.
