Charles "Ken" Brock

  Charles “Ken” Brock 83 passed away early Thursday morning May 11, 2017 at Hinkle Hospice House.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel with Pastor Mike Hamby officiating.  Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Ken was born in Guilford County on November 11, 1933, to the late Willis Harold Brock, Sr. and Della Mae Elliott Brock.  He retired from Piedmont Airlines and served during the Korean Conflict in the US Air Force.  He was also a member of New Life Baptist Church. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Mack Brock and a grandson Jordan Brock.  Surviving are his wife Geneva Ann Willett Brock of the home; a son, Stephen Brock of the home; also one daughter, Carla Wilber (Donn,) of Lexington; brothers, Gary Brock (Sarah) of Archdale, Harold Brock, Jr. (Carol) of Archdale and; sisters, Pauline, Collett of Trinity and Barbara Parham of Hickory; grandchildren, Lesley Edmundson, Matthew Carroll, Kaitlyn Brock, Valentina Wilber, Sean Wilber, Luca Wilber.  Memorials may be made to Hinkle Hospice House, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC  27292 and New Life Baptist Church, 270 Oakwood Lane, Clemmons, NC  27012.
