Charles Craver

October 17, 1950 — March 21, 2008

Charles Ray Craver, 57 of Waitman Road, Lexington died Friday evening at Britthaven of Davidson following a brief illness. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday in the Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel. Rev. Michael Greer will conduct the service and burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mr. Craver was born October 17, 1950 in Davidson County to William Odell Craver and Minnie Barker Craver. He formerly worked for Heckman Furniture for 17 years as a draftsman; he was a member of the West Lexington Lions Club, the Davidson County Genealogical Society, and was a guest columnist for The Dispatch. He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother-in-law David Curtis. Surviving are his father of Lexington, a brother Roger O. Craver and wife Tina; a sister Deborah Curtis all of Lexington; two nieces Tiffany Crouch and husband Shawn, and Holly Walser; a nephew Wesley Brandon Craver, and a great niece Amber Crouch. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington and at other times at the home.
