Charles Gordon Crouch Sr.

Charles Gordon Crouch Sr., 75, of Owens Farm Road, died Monday, February 21, 2011, at Hinkle Hospice House, following two years of declining health. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, where he was a member, with the Revs. Bruce Morasco and Charlie Patrick officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2011, at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home. Mr. Crouch was born February 23, 1935, in Richmond County, to Nellie Elizabeth Crouch. He was a furniture repairman at Transit Damage Furniture. Surviving are his wife, Janet Ruth Owens Crouch of the home; son, Chuck Crouch Jr. and wife, Debra, of Denton; daughters, Angie Grubb and husband, Tim, and Sherry Pagels and husband, Warren, all of Lexington; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Glenda Darnell Crouch of Rockingham.
