Charles Linville Dean

Charles Linville Dean, 52, of Winston Salem passed away on January 1, 2025 at his home with his wife beside him. He was born on March 2, 1972 in Lexington, NC, and was a 1990 graduate of Northwest Guilford High School.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 5, 3 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church, Lexington, with Pastor Jon Martin presiding.

Surviving are his wife, Lisa Poston Dean, siblings Stephanie Jarvis, Benton Ashworth, Delrio (Bunky) Dean, Arnold Dean, Laura Haley, Debbie Bailey, Crystal Dean, and Tommy Hampton, daughter Mikayla Marie Dean, grandchildren Brihanna Thomas and Caydyn Thomas, step-mother Rosa (Sam) Dean, and in-laws Jim and JoAnn Hill.

He was preceded in death by parents Glenda Tedder Dean and Arnold Elmer Dean,  and grandparents Laura Dean and Charles Dean, and Dorothy Mae Tedder and Linville Dean Tedder. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to First Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 586, Lexington, NC 27293-0586.

Charles was a kind man who loved the Lord, his wife, his family, and his precious cat, Evy.
