Charles Gregg

Charles Wayne Gregg, 66, of Hedrick Mill Road, died Monday, December 31, 2007, at his home. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Davidson Funeral Home by Preacher Clyde Akers. Mr. Gregg was born June 24, 1941 in Davidson County to George Howard Gregg and Leota Kepley Gregg. He was retired from Billings Freight Systems after 32 years of service. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother, Howard Glenn Gregg. Surviving are his wife, Shirley Roseberry Gregg of the home; sons, Jeffrey Wayne Gregg and wife, Teresa, Timothy Charles Gregg, all of Lexington, and Michael Todd Gregg and wife, Jill, of Florida; daughter, Tina Marie Jarvis and fiancé, Michael Chad Justice of Lexington; grandchildren, Matthew Lee Jarvis, Travis Mathias Jarvis, Clayton Daniel Jarvis, Elizabeth Shae Duffey, Emanuel Wayne Gregg, Ryan Charles Gregg, and Skylar River Nicole Kelly; and sisters, Martha Hedrick and Margaret Brown, both of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and other times at the home of the daughter, Tina Jarvis, 1341 New Bowers Road, Lexington.
