Charles Edward Huffman

Charles Edward Huffman, 68, of Love Rd., Lexington died Friday in Forsyth Medical Center after an eight month illness. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 30 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Clyde Akers. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mr. Huffman was born March 8, 1939 in Boone, WV to Ephriam Huffman and Anna Payne Huffman. A retired employee of Owen- Illinois, he was a member of Buckhorn Hunting Club in Chester, SC. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife, Freda “Mickey” Tucker Huffman of the home; his sons: Charles “Junior” Huffman Jr. and wife, Rita; Willliam “Tiny” Huffman and wife, Debbie, all of Welcome; two grandchildren, Justin Huffman and Dustin Huffman of Welcome; and a brother, Larry Dean Huffman of Hinkley, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, October 29, 2007 at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County, P.O.
