Charles William Kruse

Charles William Kruse, age 92 of Lexington, passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2021 at his home.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 14 ^th in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington officiated by Pastor George Sayour.  Burial will be held at 9:00 am on Monday, May 17 ^th at Salisbury National Cemetery with full military honors.

Mr. Kruse was born on September 30, 1928 in Forest County, Wisconsin to William Frank Kruse and Sylvia Bertha Streckert Kruse.  He served in the United States Army and was a member of Meadowview Presbyterian Church.  Mr. Kruse was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Enid Kruse Peel.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Harriet Collins Kruse, of the home; daughter, Janette Kruse Lagasse of Lexington; sons, Brian Kruse (Annette) and Jonathan Kruse (Jeanna), both of Lexington; 5 grandchildren, Grant Cox, Rachel Cox Osburn (Garrett), Jordan Cox, Kendall Kruse, Kaden Kruse and 2 great-grandchildren, Carter Osburn and Greer Osburn.
