Charles Jay Mcdaniel

Charles Jay McDaniel, 67, of Archdale Road in Trinity, passed away Sunday January 30, 2022 at High Point Regional Hospital.

A memorial service will be held 2:30 pm Thursday February 10, 2022 at Journey Church of Biesecker Road in Lexington with Anthony Kennedy officiating services.

Mr. McDaniel was born August 4, 1954 in Davidson County to Jasper McDaniel and Lucille McDaniel. In his spare time, Jay loved to watch sports especially NFL Football. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Kay McDaniel.

Surviving is his fiancé, Marilyn Nance; his sister, Ann Wilt (Steve) of Greensboro and their two children.

Jay was considered a member of his fiance’s family and was very involved with family events. He also considered all of the seventeen grandchildren as his own and he will be missed by all going forward.
