Charles Clyde Medlin

May 20, 1932 — March 17, 2012

Charles Medlin, age 79, of Louya Road, Lexington passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Hinkle Hospice House after an illness of one year.  Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 pm Wednesday, March 21, 2012 in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Sowers officiating.    The family will greet friends at the funeral home following the service.   Charles was born in Davidson County, May 20, 1932 to Clyde Willis Medlin and Vera Walker Medlin.  He was the retired owner and operator of Sportsman Campers and served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.  He was preceded in death by his father; a son, Allen Charles Medlin.   Charles is survived by his wife, Patsy Koonts Medlin of the home; son, David Guy Medlin and wife Susan of Lexington; two grandchildren, Jason Medlin and wife Stacey and Kevin Medlin; his mother, Vera Medlin Everhart of Lexington; two brothers, Joel Medlin and wife Catherine; Kenneth Medlin and wife Martha all of Lexington.   Memorials may be made to Hinkle Hospice House, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC  27292   Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
