Charles David Minter, age 81 of Lexington passed away Friday, November 13, 2020 at his home.
A graveside service will be 2:00 pm Monday, November 16, 2020 at Center United Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Mitch Wilson. The family will see friends following the graveside service. Mr. Minter will lie in state from 10 am until noon Monday at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel and also from 1-2 pm at the graveside.

Mr. Minter was born January 2, 1939 in Forsyth County to Charlie Cabel Minter and Mary Elizabeth Willard Minter. He retired from RJR and was a member of Center United Methodist Church. His parents, a brother, Lewis Henry Minter and a grandson, Cody Scott Minter all preceded him in death.
Surviving are his loving wife, Bonnie West Minter of the home. His sons, Charles David Minter, Jr. (Milda) of Lexington and Michael Dean Minter (Dawn) of Raymond, California. Also surviving are five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Five sisters: Elizabeth Minter Marshall (James) of Lexington, Martha Minter Minish of Baton Rouge, Louisana, Mary Minter Wilson of Kernersville, Becky Minter Wassum (Ed) of Lexington and Ellen Minter Hines of Clemmons. His brother, William "Billy" Minter of Lexington and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Center United Methodist Church Missions Fund.
