Charles C. Parks, Jr.

Mr. Charles Calvin Parks, Jr, 66, of Cherokee Drive, died Sunday, December 04, 2011 at Lexington Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at First Baptist Church, by the Revs. Dr. Ray Howell, III and Tommy Wilson. Entombment will follow at the Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home. Mr. Parks was born February 8, 1945 in Davidson County to Charles Calvin Parks, Sr. and Alma Fouts Parks. He was a graduate of Catawba College and the former co-owner of Furniture Makers Supply. He was a member of First Baptist Church and a past President of Central Carolina Civitan. Mr. Parks was also a member of the Thomasville Masonic Lodge #214. He is survived by his wife, Ann Ray Parks of the home; his son, Charles C. Parks, III and wife, Melissa, of Lexington; and his grandchildren, Charles C. Parks, IV and Avery Elizabeth Parks.
