Charles Phillip Smith

Charles Phillip Smith, age 62 of Dodge Drive, Lexington passed away Monday morning, June 13, 2016 at Hinkle Hospice House. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, June 16, 2016 in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Henry King officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday night. Charles was born in Davidson County January 10, 1954 to Charlie Jerome Smith and Dorothy Mauney Smith. He was a former employee of Leggett and Platt; preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Margaret Lawson. Surviving are his sisters, Mary Coffey (Donald) and Brenda Smith all of Lexington; brothers, Fred Wayne Smith, David Lee smith (Doris), Rocky Foyell Smith (Debbie), Dewey Franklin Smith and Robert Eugene Smith (Deborah) all of Lexington; nephews, Donald Oldham, Jr, Shannon Robert Smith and fiancée Angie Clark and Rocky Foyell Smith, Jr.
