Charles George Pierce

Charles “Chuck” Pierce, 80 of Bending Brook Lane, died January 19, 2022, at Trinity Elms, Clemmons, NC.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, Lexington, NC officiated by Rev. Brady Lowery. Burial will follow in the Lexington City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday, January 24 from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington.

Chuck was born in Randolph County to Royce Pierce and Milley Pierce. He retired from M C America as a truck driver, Thomasville Furniture as a Finishing Supervisor and was a member of Charity Baptist Church. Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, wife Glenda Shumaker Pierce, brothers Dolan Pierce, Don Pierce, sisters Jewell Watford, Pauline Gordon, and Mary Hughes.

Surviving are his Daughter, Shannon Pierce, step son, Tony Shumaker (Gwen), step daughter Wendy Newman (Joey), sister Louise Elberson, grandchildren; Justin Shumaker (Anne-Marie, Jessica Long (Aaron), Caleb Shumaker (Darcey), Cody Newman, Cole Newman fiancé (Ashlee Lallier), Lindsey Lorrette (Emmett), Cassidy Newman and Taylor Brewer; great-grandchildren, Stetson Long, Tinslee Long, Hadlynn Long, Harrison Shumaker and Carlie Shumaker and a host of nieces and nephews.
