Charles Ray Everhart

Charles Ray Everhart, 85, of Davidson County, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2024.

There are no formal services at this time.

Charles was born on August 10, 1939, in Davidson County, to the late Grady Odell Everhart and Ellen Beck Everhart. Upon finishing high school, he enlisted in the service and joined the Navy. After his time in the military, he worked as a Design Engineer for Proctor and Schwartz.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Randall Everhart and Jimmy Everhart and three sisters, Lois, Edna Mae, and Florence.

Left to carry on his legacy is his loving wife of 64 years, Hettie Vawter Everhart; sons, Darrel Ray Everhart (Sally), Stephen Bradley Everhart (Christina Lynn), and Tracey Owen Everhart; daughter, Cynthia Elaine Nixon; sister, Brenda; five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Charles will be greatly missed by those who were blessed to call him their family and friend.
