Charles Edmond Russell

Charles Edmond Russell, 66, of Tomahawk Trail, died Sunday, June 18, 2006, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. The funeral will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, by the Rev. Bob James. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mr. Russell was born in Davidson County on July 25, 1939, to Clarence Edmond Russell and Dorothy Leonard Russell. He graduated from High Point University with a degree in business administration and was owner of Fast Mart Convenience Stores Inc. and a member of Rich Fork Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Jeanette Swicegood Russell of the home, and one son, Charles Edmond Russell Jr. and his wife, Aimee, of Charlotte. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home.
