Charles Hercules Shoaf, 82, of Central Ave, died Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Hinkle Hospice House.
A graveside service will be 11:00 am Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at Forest Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Brian K. Rummage officiating.
The family will receive friends following the graveside.
Mr. Shoaf was born April 20, 1932, in Davidson County, to Cletus Charlie Shoaf and Thelma Koontz Shoaf. He was a meter reader with Davidson Water and a member of Second Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed old cars and car shows. His wife, Joan Sink Shoaf, preceded him in death, as well as his brothers, Gaither Shoaf and Kenneth Shoaf; and a sister, Loreta Sink.
Surviving are his son, Woody Shoaf and wife, Debbie, of Lexington; brother, Dallas Shoaf of Lexington; one grandchild, Ashley Eilbacher and husband, Craig; and two great grandchildren, Harrison and Ella Grace Eilbacher, all of Lexington.
