Charles Stephen Small

Charles Stephen Small, 58, of Grove Park Lane, died suddenly Thursday, September 4, 2008, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, September 8, 2008, at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel, by the Rev. Dr. Glenn Myers. Mr. Small was born February 20, 1950, in Berkley County, W.Va., to Charles Henry Small and Margaret Kitchen Small Bowman. He was a retired engineer from Duracell. Surviving are his wife, Karen Fulton Small of the home; son, Aaron Wesley Small of Greensboro; daughter, Corey Maureen Showalter and husband, Philip Christian, of Charlotte; father and stepmother, Margaret Small, of Wilmington; mother of High Point; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wesley and Bonnie Fulton, of Bluffton, In. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Sunday September 7, 2008 at the funeral home and other times at the home.
