Charles "Sonny" Sheffield

Charles Fletcher “Sonny” Sheffield went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 7, 2021.

Sonny was born February 28, 1958 in Guilford County to Neil Sheffield and Betty McDowell Sheffield. He was of the Baptist faith and was a truck driver with Kepley-Frank Hardwood. He loved to ride horses, his Harley and watching his grandkids fish, camping in the mountains and love to work. He was preceded in death by his father, Neil Sheffield.

A memorial service will be held 4:00 pm Wednesday October 13 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel by the Revs. Josh Sheffield and Ivan Sheffield and streamed at www.facebook.com/davidson.funeralhome . Due to Covid 19, the family has asked that everyone attending the service wear a mask and social distance themselves.

Left to cherish his memory includes his son, Josh Sheffield (Gabrielle) of Lexington; his daughter, Jennifer Sheffield (Brooke) of Thomasville; his mother, Betty McDowell Sheffield-Jones, brother, Ivan Sheffield (Carolyn) of Tenn. sisters, Deby Siers of Sophia, Esther Dunn (Jimmy) of Asheboro; two grandchildren, Joshua and Titus Sheffield and two nephews, Jacob Sheffield (Heather) and Jeremy Dunn.
