Charles Swing

Charles Henderson Swing, 83, of Lexington went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 01, 2021, at his home.

A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Friday, December 3, 2021, at Beck’s Reformed Church with Pastor Gerald Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 pm until 8 pm on Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.

Mr. Swing was born in Davidson County on December 31, 2021, to Robert Clarence Swing and Rose Bud Kepley Swing.  He was the owner/operator of Better Farm Service and was a member of Beck’s Reformed Church. Mr. Swing was a loving father, brother, and grandfather whose memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Younts Swing; and a brother-in-law, Donald Fritts.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving children, Mike Swing (Martha), Robert Swing (Christi), and Ann Swing Bryant (John) all of Lexington; a sister, Pat Fritts of Lexington; three grandchildren, Anna Marie Swing (Avery Deweese), Laura Byerly Bryant (Ben Hoeschel), and Abby Lohr Bryant; and one great-grandson, Myles Henderson Hampton.

Memorials may be directed to the Beck’s Reformed Church General Fund or to the Beck’s Reformed Church Cemetery Fund at 2845 Beck’s Church Road, Lexington, NC 27292.
