Charles Eugene Taylor

Charles Taylor, 65, of Old Highway 64 East, died Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at his home. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, August 14, 2010, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and other times at the home of the daughter, 1003 Green Meadows Drive. Mr. Taylor was born April 15, 1945, in Davidson County, to Zeb Vance Taylor and Nellie Mae Floyd Taylor. He was of the Baptist faith and retired from Triad Steele. Surviving are his wife, Jewel Kay Horne Taylor of the home; sons, Chad Taylor and wife, Angela, of Lexington and John Wayne Horne and wife, Jackie, of South Carolina; daughter, Angela Green and husband, Scott Warren, of Lexington; nine grandchildren, Sincea, Brittany, Logan, MaKayla, Jacob, Corbin, Brock, Marvin and Olivia; and great-grandchild, Ethan.
