Charlie "Buster" Lee Owens Jr.

Charlie “Buster” Lee Owens Jr., 68, of Holiday Drive, died Monday, March 21, 2016, at Forsyth Medical Center. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2016, at Lakeview Baptist Church with the Revs. David Wooten and David Robinson officiating. Burial with military graveside honors will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and other times at the home. Mr. Owens was born December 21, 1947, in Davidson County, to Charlie Allen Owens and Lillie Mae Aldridge Owens. He was a carpenter for One Construction. Surviving are his wife, Kathy Marie Moose Owens of the home; daughters, Stefanie Poore and husband Paul and Crystal Renee Rummage and husband Mark, all of Lexington; two grandchildren, Kayla Rummage and Kelsie Rummage; brothers, Richard Owens and wife Darlene and Ricky Owens, all of Lexington; and sisters, Rita Huffman and husband Larry, Rosemary Blevins and husband Tommy, Vickie Hileman and husband Chuck, and Gladys Owens, all of Lexington.
