Charlie Cletus Wrenn, 96, of Cornelia Drive, died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015, at Lexington Health Care.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Max Shoaf. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service.
Mr. Wrenn was born Feb. 10, 1919, in Davidson County to William Hamlet Wrenn and Maggie Billings Wrenn. He was an installer for Lexington Telephone Co. and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Mr. Wrenn served in the U.S. Army during World War II. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Bonnie Rose Frye Wrenn, who died Feb. 27, 2015; brothers Clyde Wrenn, Frank Wrenn, Jesse Wrenn and R.J. Wrenn; and sisters Gertie Coombs and Maxine Spears.
Surviving are a host of nieces and nephews.
